Emerson on Hurumzi

Emerson on Hurumzi is located in the heart of Stone Town, on Zanzibar, with fabulous views over the town across to the Indian Ocean from the Tower Top restaurant on its roof.  It is an old building, having previously belonged to a rich merchant and many of the original furnishings are still present as well as a number of period pieces designed to give the feel of a set from the Arabian Nights.

Accommodation & Facilities
It has just 12 rooms, each individually designed and all with en-suite facilities. The feeling of palatial comfort continues in the bedrooms with traditional Zanzibari beds with jasmine flowers on the pillows at bedtime and fresh flowers in the room.

Activities
With charismatic managers and a short walk from the sights of Stone Town, Emerson on Hurumzi is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. As with most Stone Town hotels, please note that the Emerson & Green doesn’t have a swimming pool.
