Fairview House

Fairview House is a small boutique hotel peacefully located about 15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay, on South Africa’s Garden Route. The hotel has a super setting surrounded by natural fynbos vegetation at the head of a valley with southerly views across rugged and forested country. With easy access to the beaches and restaurants of Plettenberg Bay, Storms River and the Tsitsikamma National Park, the hotel is ideally positioned for a relaxing holiday.

Accommodation & Facilities
Fairview House has just eight spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms split between the main house and the newer garden wing. The air-conditioned bedrooms are decorated with vibrant works of art and simple but elegant pieces of furniture, and have a TV, a coffee machine, and a sofa. The bathrooms all have walk-in showers, and the larger ones also have baths. Two rooms have a second bedroom for younger children. The ground floor of the main house has a dining room, bar, sitting room and library, all with views over the gardens to the valley, as well as a lovely shaded verandah. The gardens also feature a good size pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Plettenberg Bay has a wealth of good restaurants and lovely beaches, and offers numerous activities such as seasonal dolphin and whale watching, as well as boat trips and kayaking. Other activities that can be enjoyed locally include mountain biking, horse riding, walking in the Tsitsikama National Park or Nature’s Valley, and bungee jumps from Blauukrans bridge. Fairview House will gladly prepare a picnic for guests to make the most of their day out.
