Flatdogs Camp

Flatdogs Camp, owner run by Jess and Adey Coley, is set beneath large mature trees on the banks of the Luangwa River on the eastern edge of the beautiful South Luangwa National Park. The camp looks out onto the river on one side and a natural lagoon on the other.

Accommodation & Facilities

Flatdogs has several accommodation options which include authentic, luxury Meru safari tents, wooden family chalets, and the private and separate Jackal-Berry Tree House and Croc Nest. The seven walk-in tents have proper beds and en-suite open-air bathrooms with showers and flush loos. The four chalets accommodate between six and eight guests and have spacious rooms and en-suite bathrooms, with each room having a private verandah with great views. The camp has an excellent a la carte restaurant, a spacious bar, and a large swimming pool.

Wildlife & Activities

Flatdogs Camp offers day and night wildlife drives in open safari vehicles and walking safaris in the National Park, all accompanied by fully qualified and highly experienced guides. A visit to Kawaza Village can be arranged, where you have the opportunity to spend time in a genuine Zambian rural village and to get involved with local people and village life.
