Forest Chem Chem

Hidden in a grove of fever trees beside the Tarangire River, Forest Chem Chem sits in its own 16,000 hectare private concession. Located on the eastern side of Lake Burunge and adjoining the Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees, the area is teeming with incredible wildlife, and is very peaceful.

Accommodation & Facilities
Forest Chem Chem offers the opportunity to experience an exclusive bush camp of your very own, giving privacy and flexibility. It has four vintage tents, one of which is a two-bedroomed family tent, and it sleeps up to eight adults and two children, making it ideal for families or friends travelling together. The vintage tents have huge sleeping areas, and ensuite bathrooms with flush loos and inside and outside showers. The family tent suits up to four guests, and has a second bedroom with twin beds. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Wildlife & Activities
With daytime wildlife drives in Tarangire National Park, and night drives and walking safaris on Chem Chem’s private concession, guests here enjoy an excellent private wildlife experience. The species that may be seen includes elephant, lion, giraffe, buffalo, hyena, leopard, zebra, eland, wildebeest, and hippo, as well as a huge number of birds.
