Galton House

Galton House is a lovely guesthouse in Windhoek. Named after the famous explorer Sir Francis Galton, it has a relaxed but efficient style which creates a very welcoming atmosphere. A mere ten minute drive from the town centre and perched on the edge of Windhoek’s affluent suburb of Eros, guests here can be sure of a peaceful stay.

The nine rooms are all equipped with internet connectivity and satellite television, with coffee and tea available on request. The communal areas consist of a large lounge, dining room, swimming pool and garden. There is also delightful ‘al fresco’ dining area by the pool, where freshly prepared and very tasty meals are served.

There are a number of shops, restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach. Galton House is ideally located for an overnight stopover in Windhoek, before or after your safari.
