Gomoti Plains Camp

Gomoti Plains Camp has a lovely position on the bank of the Gomoti River on a private concession in the south eastern part of the Okavango Delta.

Accommodation & Facilities
There are 10 spacious and luxurious traditional safari tents at Gomoti Plains, two of which are set up for families. The tents sit on wooden decks, and have en-suite bathrooms with inside and outside showers, and a flush loo. The tents all have charging points and electric lighting. The camp has a large mess tent with two wings, one of which is the lounge and bar, while the other is the dining room. Meals are often eaten outside, under a shady tree or the stars.

Wildlife & Activities
The land around Gomoti Plains is home to a large amount of wildlife which includes lion, elephant, buffalo, wild dog, leopard and cheetah, as well as prolific amounts of plains species. Guests have the option of day and night game drives, and walking safaris to see the wildlife that lives here. If water levels permit, boat and mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips are a wonderful way to see the wilderness from a different angle, and enjoy the waterways of the area
