Grootberg Lodge

Grootberg Lodge, owned by the local community, is located in a private reserve in northwest Namibia. Set on the rim of the Grootberg Plateau, the lodge has panoramic views over the Klip River Valley.

Accommodation & Facilities
The accommodation at Grootberg Lodge comprises 14 twin and two family rock and thatch chalets. Each of the charming en-suite chalets has wonderful views over the gorge, is comfortably furnished and has a private outside deck. The main area of the lodge includes a lounge, bar and dining area, swimming pool and spacious verandah.

Wildlife & Activities
Guests can explore the pristine wilderness around Grootberg Lodge on foot or by vehicle, and possible wildlife sightings in the area include desert adapted elephant, kudu, oryx and lion.  Specific elephant tracking activities and visits with the Damara people at a local village are also available.
