Hoodia Desert Lodge

Hoodia Desert Lodge overlooks the Tsauchab River at the foot of the mountains in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, and is within easy reach of Sesriem gate for Sossusvlei.

Accommodation & Facilities

The 12 thatched chalets have en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Each chalet has a verandah with views over the open plains and mountains beyond, air-conditioning, a fridge and a coffee station.  The main areas of the lodge include a lounge, dining room, bar area and swimming pool.

Wildlife & Activities

Activities at Hoodia are centred around the dunes of Sossusvlei with the lodge perfectly positioned to explore. Visits to the Sesriem Canyon and hikes in the Namib-Naukluft Mountains can also be arranged.
