Huab Lodge

Huab Lodge is situated midway between Khorixas and Kamanjab in the Damaraland area of Namibia. The lodge is within the Huab Private Nature Reserve and sits on the bank of the mainly dry Huab River. It is owned and run by Jan and Suzi van de Reep.

Accommodation & Facilities
Eight very spacious stone and thatch en-suite bungalows blend into this spectacular setting. Comfortably furnished and decorated each bungalow also has a large private patio. The main bar and dining area is under thatch and there is a pool and sun deck nearby. A short walk away is a hot spring where a small bathing pool has been created under thatch and overlooking the riverbed. There is also a small spa where treatments can be organised to fit around safari activities.

Wildlife & Activities
Many birds and animals, such as oryx, kudu and leopard are attracted to the permanent water nearby, both in the riverbed and seeping from springs. Activities at Huab Lodge include guided bush walks, scenic drives both up and down the riverbed in open safari vehicles, bird watching, and stargazing with a 40x telescope.
