Impodimo Game Lodge

Located in the western region of Madikwe Game Reserve, Impodimo Game Lodge overlooks wildlife filled bush from its slightly elevated position.  Madikwe Game Reserve is malaria free and at 76,000 hectares (187,800 acres) it is one of South Africa’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries.

Accommodation & Facilities
Impodimo has ten thatched, air-conditioned, glass-fronted chalets, including a family safari suite and deluxe safari suite, which have an added dining room, lounge, private deck, plunge pool and sole use of a safari vehicle. The chalets have en-suite bathrooms including an outside shower, closed fireplaces, minibar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a covered outdoor patio area. The main lodge is spacious and open, with high thatched ceilings. There is an indoor lounge and bar with an open fireplace, indoor dining, outdoor boma, deck and swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, thatched outdoor sala and a waterhole.

Wildlife & Activities
The activities offered at Impodimo include morning and afternoon/early evening game drives, with walking safaris available on request.  Madikwe has diverse habitats which allows a wide range of African wildlife to flourish, including the Big 5 of rhino, leopard, lion, elephant and buffalo, cheetah, a thriving population of wild dog, and numerous plains species.
