Jardin du Roy

Jardin du Roy is built in such a way that it blends into the sandstone rocks in the background. It is 240km from Tulear on the southern boundary of Isalo National Park in the south west of Madagascar.

Accommodation & Facilities
The 40 rooms are spacious and each room has en-suite facilities and its own verandah. Jardin du Roy also has a pool in the gardens as well as a dining room and bar.

Wildlife & Activities
Guided walks can be arranged from Jardin du Roy into the picturesque Isalo National Park and these can include visits to the Canyon des Singes and Canyon des Rats which are cut into the sandstone. Isalo is an impressive national park with beautiful colours and sculpturing of the eroded terrain and sweeping panoramas. Horses are available, and rides or hikes can be organised in the surrounding countryside.
