Kapama Southern Camp

Kapama Southern Camp is situated in the south of the Kapama Private Game Reserve.  Nestled between the Drakensburg mountains and the Greater Kruger National Park, Kapama Private Game Reserve compromises 13,000 hectares of vast wilderness and is home to Africa’s Big 5. The beautiful Kapama and Klaserie rivers flow through the reserve serving as a natural water source for the vast range of local wildlife. Kapama is one of Kruger’s most abundant private game reserves.

Accommodation & Facilities
Kapama Southern Camp has 15 suites, seven luxury suites and three family suites, all of which are en-suite. The luxury and family suites have their own private lap pool, and each family suite has a connecting bedroom for children. Private patios ensure the opportunity to view wildlife and are perfect for sundowners, while the lounge and pool deck offer an ideal spot to enjoy a delicious cocktail. Breakfast and lunch are served in the open-sided dining room and the traditional outdoor boma is a favoured dinner setting to enjoy the starry skies, open fires and a true African experience.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities include two daily game drives and bush walks.  Skilled rangers and guides will accompany guests on these excursions offering their expert knowledge on the vast range of animal and bird life. As well as these activities, Kapama offers the experience to get even closer to the wildlife and to learn more about the endangered African elephants through the elephant interaction programme.
