Kiba Point

Kiba Point is situated on an outcrop of rock overlooking the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), part of the largest protected area in Africa. The reserve itself has a very small number of camps set miles apart, with Kiba Point’s nearest neighbour being its sister camp, Sand Rivers Selous.

Accommodation & Facilities
The camp is booked exclusively and has four large open-fronted stone and thatch rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a plunge pool. There is a large communal area with a dining room, bar and plunge pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Wildlife viewing in the area around camp is excellent and guests can choose from walking safaris, boat trips or wildlife drives in an open vehicle. There is also the opportunity to book a fly camping and walking trip in advance. As well as large numbers of predators and prey, the opportunity to see packs of wild dog is a particular highlight of this area.
