Kichwa Tembo

Kichwa Tembo is located in a patch of forest beside the Sabaringo River on a private concession on the west border of Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. Standing at the base of the Oloololo escarpment, the camp has a beautiful view over the plains of the Masai Mara and the course of the Mara River.

Three tents can accommodate a family with up to three children, and consist of two interconnected tents with en-suite bathrooms. Eight superior view tents have the best uninterrupted views of the Masai Mara beyond the camp. The split level main area includes reception, a bar and several spaces for sitting and relaxing, an interactive kitchen, and dining areas. Outside, there is further dining space, a pool surrounded by a large lawn, and a safari shop.
