Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Kyambura Gorge Lodge has a wonderful setting, perched above the Kyambura Gorge at the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda. The lodge has stunning views over the gorge and the lush savannah of the park, with peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance.

Accommodation & Facilities
Kyambura Gorge Lodge has eight stone bandas, four standard and four deluxe, each with an ensuite bathroom and a verandah with panoramic views. The rooms have either thatched or corrugated tin roofs. There is a central lounge and dining area made out of local materials and decorated using local fabrics. Guests staying here can enjoy a pool and a spa.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities include tracking chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge itself, boat trips on the Kazinga Channel and wildlife drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, visits to the Maramagambo Forest bat cave and crater lakes, as well as community walks. The lodge and the land surrounding it form a protected area between the chimpanzee population and local farmers.
