Constance Prince Maurice
Constance Prince Maurice is situated on a 60 acre site on the east coast of Mauritius and is one of only a handful of hotels to have been awarded purple status by the Relais and Chateaux group. Children of all ages are welcome.
Accommodation & Facilities
The 90 luxurious suites are set around the private lagoon, gardens and a beautiful white sand beach. Elegant architecture and a striking swimming pool make the public areas quite stunning. The 12 family suites can accommodate two adults and two children (under 12 years) and an infant cot. The master bedroom has a seating area, a large en-suite bathroom and an adjoining room with bunk beds and a specially designed en-suite bathroom.
There is a good children’s club, excellent spa, and guests can also use the two Belle Mare golf courses. Two restaurants, one floating in the lagoon, and exemplary service really make this a very special hotel.
Eating & Sleeping
Children can have separate, earlier mealtimes and there is a children’s menu available. During school holidays when there are lots of children in house the main restaurant opens earlier and sometimes there are children’s beach BBQs. Babysitting is available.
Activities
Constance Prince Maurice offers an impressive range of activities, mainly sporting or water based. Kite surfing, pedalos, kayaks and windsurf boards are available, you can also take the opportunity to go snorkelling, water skiing or diving. On land activities include cycling and tennis, and there is a free shuttle service to the Belle Mare Plage golf club.
Specifically for children …
The Constance Kids Club welcomes children from four to 11 years from 9am to 9pm daily. There is a dedicated club room, pool and play area offering :
• Arts and crafts with traditional and local touch.
• Theme days to create pizzas, make ice cream and enjoy some smoothies and treats.
• An imagination space for the four to six years old with playhouses, kitchenettes, tool workshops and even some 4-wheel transportation rides.
• Computer stations for gaming, internet access and other activities.
