Lemuria
Lemuria is a well run five star resort at Anse Kerlan, an idyllic location on the north west coast of Praslin Island overlooking the islands of Cousin and Cousine, with the main island of Mahe in the distance. Children of all ages are welcome.
Accommodation & Facilities
Each of the 105 suites is nestled discreetly among the well maintained gardens just 15 metres from the beach. The rooms have been constructed using natural materials including marble, stone and pink granite. Each is beautifully decorated and furnished, with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. Family accommodation options range from interconnecting junior suites sleeping two adults and one child on a sofa bed, to two bedroom villas with spacious living areas and a private chef service sleeping up to six people. The three bedroom Presidential Villa has two private pools and sleeps up to nine. For those who are particular about their pillow there is a special pillow menu offering a choice of pillows on arrival. The resort has three child friendly pools, which cascade into one another, set in the natural granite boulders and three restaurants, three bars, a kids’ club (with pool), U by Constance Spa, library and boutique.
Eating & Sleeping
Children can have separate meal times and there is a children’s menu available featuring beefburgers, fish fillet, pasta, chicken breast etc. The main restaurant ‘Legend’ is a buffet restaurant and most suited to young diners. Children can also eat at the Kids Club. Babysitting is available for children aged four months and above. A minimum of 12 hours advance notice is required to reserve a babysitter.
Activities
As well as relaxing by the pool or on the beach during your stay, you will be able to enjoy the gym, sauna and steam bath and play tennis on one of the two tennis courts. Windsurfing, snorkelling, laser sailing, scuba diving and deep sea fishing can be arranged through the beach side water sports centre called ‘The Boat House’. The resort is also home to the only 18-hole championship golf course in the Seychelles.
Specifically for children …
The Kids Club is complimentary and available to children aged four to 11 years and offers hosted age appropriate activities and excursions. The staff are English and French speaking. The Kids Club has a swimming pool, outdoor spaces and play areas, computer stations and arts and crafts corners. There is a themed programme each day which may include:

• Kids yoga.
• Competitions and arts and crafts.
