Lengishu
Lengishu is an exclusive luxury home, ideal for families or a group of friends, with a superb hillside setting on the Borana Conservancy in northern Kenya and wonderful uninterrupted views of the conservancy and into the Northern Frontier District beyond.
Accommodation& Facilities
Lengishu has the smallest possible environmental footprint, with earth clad walls, and sustainably sourced timbers in its roof and floors. The house has six bedrooms split between four cottages arranged around the main house and discreetly set into the hillside. The bedrooms all have private en-suite bathrooms and are designed to make the best of the views. The bathrooms have walk-in showers and big roll top baths, and the bedrooms have wood stoves or fireplaces for cool nights. There is a sitting room between the rooms of the Upper and Lower cottages, making them ideal for a family with younger children. Fish Eagle and Goshawk are both standalone cottages. The main house has a big dining room and lounge, framed by large open fireplaces at either end of the open plan space. A study sits off of the main hallway leading from the front entrance. A large pool has wonderful westerly views, and there is also a games room, a petanque pitch and a gym.
