Lily Beach
Lily Beach is set on Huvahendhoo Island in the spectacular Ari Atoll, close to some superb dive sites. This all-inclusive resort enjoys a house reef just metres off-shore, pristine beaches and lush tropical vegetation. It is a great spot for a restful holiday, family break or romantic celebration. The resort is reached via a 25 minute seaplane flight from Malé. Children of all ages are welcome.
Accommodation & Facilities
The luxurious villas come in five categories. There are 69 beach villas nestled amid lush vegetation a few steps away from the Indian Ocean. Comfortably furnished and with outdoor bathrooms and a private deck they offer a relaxed base close to the resort’s main facilities. The beach villas sleep two adults and two children – several of these have interconnecting doors making them a good choice for larger families sleeping up to four adults and four children. Sixteen lagoon villas have lovely views over the turquoise lagoon and enjoy direct access via a terrace to the water. These are more suitable for children with older kids as there is no railing around the terrace. The 36 deluxe water villas have a private over-water deck and jacuzzi plunge pool while the four sunset water suites are built on wooden stilts at the end of a jetty with uninterrupted views over the ocean.
There is a brand new main pool with shallow end and steps and a kid’s pool with slide at the family friendly Vibes Bar – the perfect spot for family fun. The pools are not heated but the water temperature is a comfortable 27˚C. With seven dining/bar options, there is a culinary delight here to suit all tastes .
Eating & Sleeping
There are children’s menus in all the restaurants and a kid’s buffet in Lily Maa. Depending on numbers of children, the kids club offers dinner at Lily Maa and movie nights with snacks enabling parents to enjoy their dinner alone. Kids Club staff are available to babysit at a rate of US$15/hour. Advance booking is recommended.
