Linyanti Expeditions Camp

Linyanti Expeditions Camp is in a private concession outside the border of Chobe National Park close to the permanent waters of the Linyanti marshes. The camp is situated between the teak forests of the Chobe area and the Linyanti River with its extensive swamps, providing an ideal location for some excellent wildlife viewing in peaceful surroundings.

Accommodation & Facilities

Linyanti Expeditions is an authentic seasonal safari camp with just six spacious tents, each with an al-fresco en-suite bathroom with a flush loo and a bucket shower, and a sleep-out gazebo section made of mosquito netting. The tents have simple but smart furnishings, and offer great comfort with excellent views over the river and the swamps.  The camp also has two mess tents, one with a library and comfortable sofas. The other is the dining room, and also houses the open kitchen where meals are cooked over a camp fire.

Wildlife & Activities

The Linyanti swamps are well known for large herds of elephant, buffalo and wildebeest, especially in the dry season when the swampy marshes provide one of the few water sources in this arid region.  There is a large amount of other resident wildlife in the locality of Linyanti Expeditions Camp including lion, leopard, wild dog, hippo and crocodile which can be seen on day and night drives in open vehicles, walking safaris, and mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips.
