Londolozi Tree Camp

With something in the region of 16,000 hectares of prime wilderness to explore, the five Londolozi camps are in a prime position for superb wildlife viewing.  Londolozi Private Game Reserve amounts to 7,000 hectares over which the camps have exclusive traversing rights, but game drives cross into the adjacent, world famous Sabi Sands reserve as well.  The luxury camps (Londolozi has been a member of Relais Chateaux for around 20 years) are built in an area close to the site where founders Charles Boyd Varty and Frank Unger first lit their camp fire and their grand-children and great grand-children now run the operation.

Accommodation & Facilities
Elegance and simplicity are the hallmarks of the six suites that comprise Tree Camp.  Ralph Lauren wallpaper, sumptuous beds, private swimming pools and salas combine to provide a showcase of African excellence.  When not out exploring the bush with their guides, guests can relax on their decks with a glass of champagne surveying the ancient landscape and the wildlife congregating at the river below.  It is, without doubt, one of the most stylish camps in South Africa.

Wildlife & Activities
Guests staying here can expect Big 5 sightings, including some incredible leopard viewing, while out on game drives. Other wildlife includes crocodile, hippo, cheetah, giraffe and hyena.  Bush walks offer a great opportunity to examine the smaller things often missed from a vehicle, while sleep-outs and astronomy lectures allow guests to experience the best of Africa at night.
