Marataba Safari Lodge

Marataba Safari Lodge is located on a private area within the Marakele National Park at the foot of the Waterberg Mountains in South Africa.

Accommodation & Facilities
The 15 suites at Marataba Safari Lodge are an interesting combination of canvas and stone and each has been individually designed to give an elegant and contemporary feel. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, oversized stone bathtubs, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. They enjoy beautiful views over the plains and river to the mountains beyond from the private decks. Lodge facilities are completed by a large lounge with fireplace and comfortable sofas, library, bar, dining area and swimming pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Marakele National Park is itself is a ‘Big 5’ Game reserve where it is possible to see rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard. Activities include morning and afternoon/evening game drives and walks. Spa treatments can also be arranged at an extra cost, as can an afternoon boat trip on one of the reserves small lakes.
