Mazike Valley Lodge

Mazike Valley Lodge is set on a hill side at the eastern edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, with fantastic views over the park and Ruwenzori Mountains and is just a short distance from the Kyambura Gorge.

Accommodation & Facilities
The eight cottages are built from locally sourced stone and thatch and sit in a natural bush setting. The tastefully designed rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, bath tubs and showers with views to the park, 220v electricity and a private wooden balcony. The lodge has a restaurant, bar and lounge which are all open, with views out over a sundowner deck into the national park. There is also a swimming pool and campfire, around which drinks are taken and stories and adventures shared.

Wildlife & Activities
Mazike Valley Lodge makes a great base from which to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park where it is possible to take game drives as well as boat trips along the Kazinga Channel. Among almost 100 species of mammals and more than 600 birds, visitors are likely to see lion, forest and cape buffalo, elephant, numerous hippo, crocodile, Uganda Kob and a huge variety of birdlife. With gorges, plains, lakes and mountains this is one of the most diverse and scenic parks on the continent.
