Time + Tide Mchenja Bush Camp
Mchenja Bush Camp lies hidden in a shady grove of ebony trees on the bank of the Luangwa River in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park. It is a picturesque site with expansive views of the river.

Mchenja Bush Camp is an elegant, stylish camp that offers accommodation in four double rooms and one two bedroom family room built from local thatch with drop down canvas sides, a private en-suite open air bathroom and an inside freestanding roll top bath. The bar, lounge and dining area, is set amongst the ancient ebony trees and has lovely views over the river. The camp also has a small plunge pool.
Wildlife & Activities
As well as day and night drives in open safari vehicle, guests can also enjoy walks in the company of expert guides or spend time in the hide which, raised on stilts in the ebony grove, overlooks the stream where wildlife comes to drink. Elephant, buffalo and lion are regularly sighted and guests will have a good chance of seeing leopard whilst staying at Mchenja.
