Musekese is a small and rustic bush camp in Northern Kafue, owned and run by Jeffery & McKeith Safaris. The camp is situated in riverine woodland overlooking a dambo frequented by wildlife and views with towards the Kafue River. Founders Phil Jeffrey and Tyrone McKeith grew up in Zambia and, as well as being fantastic guides, are hugely passionate about the conservation of Kafue’s landscapes and wildlife.

Accommodation & Facilities

There are only four chalets here, raised up on stilts under thatched grass roofs. The open air en-suite bathrooms have bucket showers and flushing loos. The main area, also under thatch, provides a shady spot to relax during the heat of the day and enjoy cool drinks from the bar or enjoy communal lunches with your hosts.

Wildlife & Activities

Musekese is situated in a remote area of the park where the habitats and wildlife you will see have only recently been explored and opened up to outside guests. Walking safaris, day and night drives and boat safaris are all offered here, with the latter providing a particularly enjoyable contrast with incredible scenery and wonderful birdlife.
