Ol Lentille

Ol Lentille is located in the rolling hills of the Laikipia Plateau, in the 40,000 acre private Ol Lentille Conservancy. There are four private houses perched on the hilltop which have spectacular views over the region. Children of all ages are welcome.

Accommodation & Facilities
The houses vary in size with the smallest sleeping two in a quirky circular bedroom, to the largest villa with three double bedrooms, all with space for an additional bed, a main living and dining area and private plunge pool on the outdoor deck. Each villa is taken on an exclusive basis and comes fully staffed with a private guide and game vehicle. The infinity pool is accessible via steps at each end and has wonderful views over the waterhole which is regularly visited by the local wildlife. The spa at Ol Lentille offers a variety of treatments including massage and reflexology. Meals and sundowners can be taken in your private house or out in the wilderness under the African skies.

Eating & Sleeping
The chefs at Ol Lentille are very flexible and are happy to provide a meal plan to suit children’s requirements, including separate meal times, menus and locations.  There is a nanny service which is provided by the female staff at no additional charge and can be arranged up to an hour in advance.

Wildlife & Activities
The conservancy is home to plenty of elephant and plains game and occasionally rare wild dog and leopard are spotted. Guests can choose to go on day and night games drives with private guide.  Escorted bush walks and camel treks can be combined with a fly camping experience for a night in the bush. The stunning surrounding landscapes offer quad biking and jogging trails. Visits to the local village, weekly markets, schools and the hospital can also be arranged.

Specifically for children…
Each house comes with a private vehicle and guide allowing families to set the pace of wildlife viewing experiences to suit particular interests and age groups. The guides and staff at Ol Lentille are brilliant at entertaining families and activities arranged specifically for children include:
• A game of ‘Bao’
• Making fires
• Bushcraft
• Nature walks
Suitable safety equipment is available where necessary.
Please note that quad biking has an age restriction of 16 years old.
