One&Only Reethi Rah
One&Only Reethi Rah is located on one of the largest islands in the North Malé Atoll, just 15 minutes transfer from the international airport by seaplane or 50 minutes by luxury speed boat. This superb all-villa resort is a wonderful location to relax and recharge. Children of all ages are welcome.
Accommodation & Facilities
The resort’s 128 villas are set along the sweeping bays of the island and categorised into beach villas, water villas and grand sunset residences. Beach villas sit on their own patch of sandy shore with lovely ocean views and direct, private access to the sea. They feature large verandas with outdoor seating areas and sunbeds, and comfortable, spacious interiors for an indulgent getaway. Beach villas come in a variety of sizes and some offer a private pool. Water villas are set over the lagoon and connected by walkways from the island. They all have covered terraces and hammocks, and some come with their own small pool. The two Grand Sunset Residences are the largest villas with three bedrooms and sleep up to seven guests. With indoor and outdoor living areas, an extensive private beach, a swimming pool, and a private chef, it is perfect for those seeking a truly private experience. Seven restaurants offer a range of wonderful culinary options and in-villa dining is available for those wishing to enjoy the privacy of their own villa.
Eating & Sleeping
A kids’ only menu has been especially designed with younger tastes in mind and includes pasta, chicken nuggets, burgers, rice and vegetables etc. Special meals for infants and toddlers include fresh fruit and vegetable purée, baby vegetable risotto and mini meatballs, depending on the age of the infant and toddlers.
For babies and toddlers, the resort offers professional baby-sitting services for a fee of US$ 25 per hour before midnight; US$ 35 per hour after midnight till 8am. One babysitter for a minimum of two children and 24-hours notice is required.
Convenience items such as bottle warmers, sterilisers and baby monitor sets and cots for children below the age of three are available upon request.
Activities
A wide range of water sports is available including canoes, pedal boats, windsurfing, as well as jet skis and water skiing. Below the surface there is wonderful snorkelling and scuba diving. Outdoor facilities include two floodlit tennis courts and a synthetic grass football field. The spa is a great place to take advantage of some pampering and the state of the art fitness centre ideal for those in need of a work out.
Specifically for children …
Under the expert care of a team of fully certified staff, children can enjoy their own dedicated area of the resort with separate dining facilities, a clubhouse and swimming pool. Open daily from 9am – 7pm, scheduled activities including arts and crafts, nature and conservation projects, sports, quizzes and competitions encourage kids to make new friends.
KidsOnly is for four to nine year olds although younger children are welcome if accompanied by a guardian. OneTribe caters for the 9 – 11 year olds and ClubOne organises scheduled activities for teenagers aged 12 to 17 in a trendy beachclub setting complete with climbing wall and art studio.
Diving is available to children aged ten years and above. Parents are required to supervise all watersports. Lifejackets and age appropriate equipment is available.
