Singita Castleton

Singita is synonymous with exceptional levels of service, guiding and hosting. Castleton Camp has a private setting in the Singita Private Game Reserve, which covers 18,000 hectares of private land in the Sabi Sands on the western border of South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park. With no fencing between the two reserves, wildlife is free to move between them just as it wishes.

Accommodation & Facilities
A small, exclusive use retreat, Singita Castleton is a private safari lodge which can accommodate up to 12 guests at any one time, in six en-suite cottages dotted throughout the vast garden. The central part of the lodge has a swimming pool with views over the nearby water hole, an indoor and outdoor dining area, wine cellar, sitting room, tennis court, gym, trampoline for children (and adults) to have fun, and a spa treatment room. The style here is one of authentic country farmhouse charm, and the lodge comes with a private guide and chef to tailor the activities and meals to suit your family or group of friends.

Wildlife & Activities
Day and evening game drives and guided nature walks provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy some of the best wildlife viewing in South Africa. Other activities on offer here include visits to local communities, archery, fishing, stargazing, tennis and even croquet on the lawn.  Guests are also encouraged to take part in informal cooking lessons in the country style kitchen or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful African wilderness.
