Singita Pamushana Lodge

Singita Pamushana Lodge is located in the beautifully diverse Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve in south eastern Zimbabwe. The lodge is set in a remote wilderness area that is surrounded by riparian woodland, bordering the Chiredzi River. Children of all ages are welcome.

Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodation comprises eight suites and one villa, all of which are en-suite with both indoor and outdoor showers, private plunge pools, double-sided fireplace and a game viewing deck with telescope. There are a number of accommodation options for families. The villa has five bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of eight people. In addition there are three two bedroomed suites and one three bedroomed suite to suit families of all sizes. The main lodge offers both indoor and outdoor dining areas, bar, library, open-air lounge, wine cellar, two heated swimming pools and a jacuzzi, all overlooking the Malilangwe dam and sandstone hills.

Eating & Sleeping
Children can have separate meal times. The chef is happy to discuss the children’s preference on your arrival and provide accordingly.  Specific dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice. Babysitting is provided by female members of staff if required. Please note they have no formal child care training but would be able to alert the family if needed by their children.

Wildlife & Activities
The Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve has an abundance of birds and wildlife which include some rare and endangered species, such as roan and sable antelope as well as the black rhino. Guests are able to view this wildlife on day and evening game drives as well as on guided bush walks. There are also over 100 rock art sites in the Malilangwe area that date back more than 2,000 years. Fishing trips are also available.

Activities at the lodges are tailored specifically to suit the interests and desires of each family. In the interest of safety, participation by children in any game activities is at the discretion of their guide.
