Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp

Stanley’s Camp is set in an amphitheatre of ebony and sausage trees on the southern tip of Chief’s Island, amid 260,000 acres of untamed African bush. Bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve, this private concession is located in a seasonal delta, and the camp offers incredible, extensive views over the surrounding floodplain

Accommodation & Facilities
Guests are accommodated in ten luxurious safari tents, with smart contemporary furniture and carpets, overhead fans, mini bars, coffee machines, and en-suite bathrooms. Each tent also has a shaded verandah and a viewing deck in front. The central part of the camp is a large tented structure which sits on a raised deck, which is built into the existing tree line. It features a dining room, an outdoor bar, a fireplace, and the Explorer Lounge. There is also a swimming pool.

Wildlife & Activities

Wildlife viewing in the area is excellent, with large numbers of predators and plains game on offer. The area is home to one of the largest buffalo populations in the Okavango Delta, which, in the dry season, can concentrate into a herd in excess of 2,000 head. Activities include day and night game drives, walking safaris, and, if water levels allow, motor boat and mokoro excursions.
