Tanda Tula Field Camp

Tanda Tula Field Camp is a simple low impact seasonal tented camp in the 60,000 hectare Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. This exclusive use camp has a peaceful position beside the Ntsiri River in a 10,000 hectare private concession.

Accommodation & Facilities
Operating from the beginning of April and the end of September, Tanda Tula Field Camp has four East African Meru style tents for up to eight guests. The tents have twin beds, plenty of storage space, and private open air bathrooms with hot bucket showers and an eco loo. The camp has a mess tent which offers space for dining and relaxing, and lighting and battery charging throughout the camp is provided by solar power and oil lamps.

Wildlife & Activities
Walking safaris are the focus of safari activities at Tanda Tula Field Camp, and the guides are chosen for their years of experience and matchless skill. Walks can be up to 10 miles in length, and are tailored to guests’ interests. The wildlife in the concession includes rhino, elephant, lion, and buffalo, and it is perfectly possible, even on foot, to spot the ‘Big Five’, though the camp also has vehicles for more conventional wildlife drives.
