Terrace Bay

Terrace Bay Camp is an amazingly isolated camp, set almost on the beach in Namibia’s renowned Skeleton Coast National Park. It’s a six hour drive from Swakopmund, the nearest town of any size.

Accommodation & Facilities
With simple accommodation for up to 50 guests, each of Terrace Bay Camp’s 22 rooms has an en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, and plenty of space. The camp has a restaurant, a bar, and a shop which sells food and drinks, and a garage nearby.

Wildlife & Activities
World class beach fishing is the main attraction at Terrace Bay Camp, thanks to the cold Benguela Current flowing north from the Antarctic, which gives rise to some of the most productive fisheries anywhere in the world. Guests can also walk in the surrounding desert and seasonal riverbeds, spotting some of the notable wildlife and birds found in the area.  Terrace Bay is an ideal place for an overnight stay when travelling from Swakopmund to Damaraland or Kaokoland.
