Wayo Banagi River Green Camp

Wayo Banagi River Green Camp is situated in the central region of the Serengeti National Park, in a secluded setting close to the landmark of Banagi Hill. Not far from the renowned Seronera River region of the park, this simple authentic camp is well shaded by acacia tortilis trees and overlooks a tributary of the Grumeti River.

Accommodation & Facilities

Banagi River Camp has eight large ‘bell’ tents with open air ensuite bathrooms. The bathrooms have safari bucket showers and composting loos. The tents have large and very comfortable beds, and easy chairs. The camp has a dining and lounge tent, where the bar is also located, although meals are often eaten outside near the campfire.

Wildlife & Activities

Banagi River Camp is an excellent stopover during a longer journey between the south and north of the Serengeti, and it’s also worth staying a few nights to see the wonderful resident wildlife of the region.
