Nosy Mangabe

Nosy Mangabe is an island in the Bay of Antongil in the north east of Madagascar. Access to the island is by boat.

Accommodation & Facilities
There is no fixed accommodation on Nosy Mangabe and overnight visitors camp on platforms under thatched shelters in a camp area on the western side of the island.

Wildlife & Activities
The island is very pretty, with sandy coves, huge trees and a lighthouse on the high point, but the big draw is its wildlife including the nocturnal aye-ayes. There are also leaf-tailed geckos, green backed frogs and white fronted brown lemurs to be found and visitors between July and September may see whales in the bay.
