Time + Tide Chongwe River Camp Albida Suite

Located on the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers in Zambia, Chongwe River Camp has wonderful views of the Muchinga mountains to the north. Across the Chongwe River is the Lower Zambezi National Park which is a pristine wilderness with a wide variety of terrain.

Accommodation & Facilities

Chongwe River Camp’s Albida suite is made up of two, en-suite deluxe rooms with a lounge/dining area and pool shared between the two rooms, ideal for families and small groups. Guests are welcome to join the main camp for meals and drinks or to enjoy the exclusivity of the suite. Each room has inter-leading path ways and gardens set out with safety in mind and the bathrooms are open air. Dining is out under the stars and trees for the majority of the time but with provision for shelter.

Wildlife & Activities

Activities include day and night wildlife drives, walking safaris, boat trips and canoeing, and guests are likely to see buffalo, elephant, lion and leopard. Birding is also good in this area, or alternatively you can fish the Zambezi for tigerfish and bream. The Albida Suite offers its own private guide and activities, although you can participate in shared activities with guests at the camp if you wish.
