Mila Tented Camp

Mila Tented Camp has a peaceful setting in the Nyasirori area of the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The camp is positioned on a gentle hillside overlooking the plains running down to the forested banks of the Grumeti River.

Accommodation & Facilities
Mila Tented Camp has just six authentically styled safari tents, one of which has two bedrooms and is set up for a family. The tents have en-suite bathrooms, a large bedroom, and a private shaded verandah outside, and far reaching views of the vast Serengeti plains. The camp has a central mess tent, with dining and lounge spaces, and a bar, and a camp fire outside.

Wildlife & Activities
The Western Corridor of the Serengeti has excellent resident wildlife all year, including leopard, buffalo, elephant, lion, kudu, giraffe, zebra, eland, and impala, and the wildebeest migration travels through here between March and May. Rare colobus monkeys can be found in the dense riparian forest along the banks of the Grumeti. Wildlife drives with a private guide and vehicle are excellent way to see the prolific wildlife, which includes some of Africa’s biggest crocodiles and largest prides of lions. Balloon flights can be arranged for an additional charge.
