Busanga Plains Camp

Busanga Plains is a vast floodplain in the north-western region of the Kafue National Park in Zambia, and Busanga Plains Camp is a luxurious safari camp located in the heart of this area.

Accommodation & Facilities
Busanga Plains Camp offers an intimate safari experience with four en-suite luxury tents (two twin and two double) with stunning views over the floodplain. The spacious tents are light and airy with large comfortable beds draped with mosquito nets, have electricity and have private open air bathrooms with running water and bucket showers. The tents are elevated on wooden decks  with verandahs to provide stunning views of the surrounding plains and the wildlife that roams through the area.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities at the camp include morning and evening wildlife drives, guided bush walks, birdwatching, all led by experienced and knowledgeable guides. Visitors to Busanga Plains can expect to see a wide range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, many species of antelope, and occasionally wild dogs. The area is also home to over 400 species of birds, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise.
