Linyanti Tented Camp

Linyanti Tented Camp has a remote and peaceful location in the 125,000 hectare Linyati Concession in northern Botswana. The camp sits on the bank of the Linyanti River, and has views across the river to the extensive marshes in Namibia.

Accommodation & Facilities

Linyanti Tented Camp is booked on an exclusive basis, and has just four safari tents to accommodate a maximum of eight guests. The tents are set on wooden decks, and are delightfully authentic and very comfortable, with big beds, ensuite bathrooms with flush loos and hot showers, storage space and a writing desk. The tents are set sideways, to give guests views across the river from bedroom and bathroom, and they have shaded verandahs with safari chairs. The camp has an open sided main building, which includes a large dining table, a bar and a lounge. Meals are often eaten outside and drinks can be enjoyed around the camp fire. A small pool is positioned on one side of the main deck.

Wildlife & Activities

The Linyanti Concession is known for its excellent wildlife, with lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, large numbers of elephant and buffalo, kudu, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo, crocodile and roan antelope all seen here. Birdlife is excellent too, thanks to the water and woodland habitats. The activities on offer include day and night drives in an open vehicle, walking safaris (must be pre-booked), bird watching, and the use of a photographic hide.
