Singita Explore

Singita Explore Camp is a private mobile camp in the Singita Grumeti Reserve in Tanzania. This camp is designed to offer guests a true wilderness experience in complete luxury. There are no set camp sites; the location is selected for the very best game viewing and scenery for the time of year. Children of all ages are welcome.

Accommodation & Facilities
The camp has a maximum of six large tents, and each is luxuriously appointed with uninterrupted views across the grassy plains. The tents are traditional safari tents but have en-suite bathrooms with bucket showers and all the little touches synonymous with the Singita brand. The comfortable main mess area and open fire provide the focal point of camp and the perfect place to relax, enjoy a G&T and chat about the day’s adventures.

Singita Explore does not have a family tent and children under 15 years are required to sleep with an adult so parents and children need to be divided between tents accordingly. A third child’s bed can be added to a tent if required.

Eating & Sleeping
Children can eat separately at mealtimes to suit. The chefs are happy to prepare any foods that children enjoy (e.g. toasties, fish fingers, macaroni cheese, milk shakes etc.) and will discuss children’s dietary preferences with parents on arrival. If there are any specific dietary requests, please advise prior to travel.

There are no formal childcare services but there is a listening service available whereby a security guard can be posted outside a sleeping child’s tent while the parents dine or housekeeping staff can be organized to babysit if required.

Wildlife & Activities
This camp is sold on an exclusive use basis and is available all year round. The camp offers guests a private camp team, sole use of a safari vehicle, and an expert safari guide is at your disposal so you can have complete flexibility. Guests at the Singita Explore can enjoy game drives and guided bush walks (upon request and subject to availability of walking guide).
