Gorges Lodge

Gorges Lodge sits high on the edge of the Batoka Gorge with views of the Zambezi River some 200 metres below. Set in lush gardens, the lodge is about 30 minutes’ drive from Victoria Falls town, allowing guests easy access to visit the falls themselves or to enjoy the activities possible in the area.

Accommodation & Facilities
The ten cottages at Gorges Lodge are built of stone with thatched roofs and are positioned to take advantage of the views over the gorge, which sometimes include birds of prey hunting below you. Each cottage has en-suite facilities. The dining room, bar and pool all enjoy views over the gorge.

Wildlife & Activities
The Victoria Falls area offers a lot of activities and guests at Gorges Lodge can enjoy two activities for each day of their stay from: a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, souvenir shopping at the craft village, a visit to the local village, a school tour, traditional dancing display, a gorge walk with snacks, black eagle viewing with sundowners and snacks, a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. Other activities such as flights over the falls and rafting are available at extra cost.
