Tuludi Camp

Tuludi Camp has a peaceful and remote setting inside the Khwai Private Reserve on the north-eastern side of the Okavango Delta. The camp is far from any others, and sits on an island in a floodplain, shaded by ancient leadwood trees. Khwai Private Reserve extends to 200,000 wildlife-rich hectares with varied landscapes and habitats, and excellent year-round supplies of food and water.

Accommodation & Facilities

Tuludi Camp has seven huge safari tents including one for a family, built on raised decks and designed to give guests unbroken views of the wilderness. The tents have en-suite bathrooms with inside and outside showers, big baths, a dressing room, and space to sit and relax inside. Outside, there is a large verandah with a day bed, a sunken lounge space and a private plunge pool. The camp is all connected by walkways, and has a central deck with a larger outside pool and a fire-pit, and a dining room and a large lounge. The camp has a library which is 4 metres up in the trees.

Wildlife & Activities

Khwai Private reserve has prolific and varied wildlife, thanks to the year round water supply and excellent soils and vegetation. Lion, leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, kudu, waterbuck, hippo, and sable antelope are among the species that can be seen at Tuludi. The activities on offer include day and night game drives, walking safaris, and boat and mokoro trips when water levels allow. In addition, wildlife viewing and watching the sun set from the camp deck are an excellent way to relax for an afternoon.
