Notten’s Bush Camp

Notten’s Bush Camp is a private safari lodge in the Sabi Sand Private Wildlife reserve, run by the Notten family. Sabi Sand is part of the renowned Greater Kruger National Park ecosystem, one of the finest wildlife habitats in Africa.

Accommodation & Facilities

Notten’s Bush Camp has nine spacious suites, which have big bedrooms with a sofa and table, and ensuite bathrooms with inside and outside showers. While the suites are cooled by ceiling fans, a special feature of the lodge is lighting by candles and oil lamp only.  The lodge has a large dining room, lounge, wine cellar and bar, with a big deck outside which has great views of the surrounding bush. For some exercise and relaxation, there is also a 20 metre pool and a spa.

Wildlife & Activities

The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is known for its exceptionally high concentration of animal and bird life. Game drives in open land-rovers are a good way to see lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo, kudu, warthog and numerous other species. Bird watching is excellent thanks to the varied habitats, and bush walks are a great way to see some of the smaller things that you miss on a vehicle.
