Accommodation & Facilities
The Banyan Tree Ilha Caldeira lodge consists of 40 thatched cottages each with views across the beach to the ocean beyond. All have ensuite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, a shaded day bed and a spacious lounge together with their own plunge pool on the deck. The public areas include two restaurants, a bar, a yoga pavilion, a spa and an infinity pool and sun deck.

Activities
Banyan Tree Ilha Caldeira offers world-class scuba diving in several sites with excellent coral and sea life, as well as the wreck of the Dutch MS Brastagi. For those able to drag themselves from their lounger there is a variety of water sports on offer including kayaking, windsurfing, and stand up paddleboards. Scuba, deep sea fishing and boat trips are available at an extra cost.
