Constance Ephelia
A beautiful resort on the island of Mahe overlooking the Port Launay National Park, Ephelia enjoys a unique setting amongst 296 acres of luxuriant and rare vegetation.
Accommodation & Facilities
The resort comprises a range of different sized suites which are fully air-conditioned, come with complimentary WiFi access, en-suite bathroom facilities including bath tub and double vanities, telephone, mini-bar and safe. For families the options range from interconnecting junior suites sleeping two adults and one child on a sofa bed, to two or three bedroom villas with private pools with varying degrees of living space sleeping up to six people, with the option to add an extra child’s bed in the master bedroom. Ephelia has seven restaurants and bars, each with its own character and style, maximising the range of food and drink available to guests. The five main pools and villa pools are all child friendly.
Eating & Sleeping
The resort is very child friendly and offers different menus to appeal to different ages – including gourmet baby food. Of the five restaurants the spacious Corossol Restaurant is the most child friendly restaurant as it is buffet only – ideal for kids. This international restaurant is open for breakfast and serves a themed buffet from 6.30pm every evening with pizzas and live pasta cooking stations suitable for kids. Parents can book their children in for lunch at the kids club.
A babysitting service is available and is provided by the kids club team at a rate of Scr170 per hour from 8am to 8pm and Scr 250 per hour from 8pm to 8am.
Activities
A fully equipped gym, four tennis courts, climbing wall and zip wire, bicycles and a wide range of water activities from fishing and scuba diving to windsurfing and kayaking offer endless options for sports and activities and will please those who enjoy a more dynamic break. Whilst the swimming pools, pristine beaches and the wellness spa, one of the largest in the Indian Ocean provide plenty of opportunity for guests to relax.
Specifically for children …
The kids club is spacious, well equipped with outdoor and indoor facilities and games for kids from four to 11 years old. The range of activities, under the supervision of friendly and fully qualified staff include:
• Swimming pool for free play, relays, tag games and more.
• Outdoor space for running relays and games.
• Open play areas to show off talents, play interactive games or enjoy movies.
• Computer stations for gaming, internet access and other activities.
• Arts and crafts with traditional and local touch.
• Theme days to create pizzas, make ice cream and enjoy some smoothies and treats.
• An imagination space for the four to six years old with playhouses, kitchenettes and tool benches.
