Kumbali Country Lodge

Kumbali Country Lodge is a peaceful private lodge just 15 minutes from Lilongwe, and is within a 650 hectare forest reserve and working dairy farm.

Accommodation & Facilities
Set in large gardens, the lodge has a relaxed, informal feel, and just 16 individual thatched suites. The rooms offer comfortable, spacious and airy accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, a private verandah, and a sitting are inside.  Each room also has a satellite TV and WiFi. Kumbali Country Lodge has a bar and a spacious restaurant which serves freshly prepared food, including organic home-grown fruit and vegetables and dairy products, as well as offering fine dining. Guests may also eat in their own rooms if they prefer.

Activities
There are a number of activities on offer to guests including forest walks through the stunning indigenous forest to see the abundant birdlife, as well as cultural activities such as a trip to a local village and a visit to the permaculture centre to learn more about sustainable farming and other technologies that are helpful to Africa’s people.
