Shanti Maurice

Shanti Maurice is situated in the south of Mauritius, just three miles outside Chemin-Grenier Village. The hotel is set amid 36 acres of private beach, lush tropical gardens and a small indigenous forest. Coral reefs circle the pristine white sand and clusters of black volcanic rock create pools as the tide goes out.

There are 61 beach facing rooms at Shanti Maurice, 44 junior suites with direct beach access, and 17 villas with private swimming pools.  All suites and villas have a separate dressing room, satellite tv and tea and coffee making facilities. There are three pools at the hotel as well as three restaurants offering a range of cuisines.

Activities
The hotel offers lots of activities from energetic to relaxing; these include non-motorised water-sports such as stand up paddle boarding and snorkelling. Among the numerous recreational sports available at the hotel are tennis, golf, yoga, aquafit, garden tours, culinary cooking classes and many children’s activities.  Within a short drive there are a variety of attractions, including Frederica Nature Reserve, Gris Gris Beach and Rochester Falls.
