Brigadoon Guesthouse

Brigadoon Guesthouse has a great location in Namibia’s best-known coastal town, Swakopmund. Just one street from the sea front, the guesthouse offers easy access to restaurants and bars and the beach.

Accommodation & Facilities
Brigadoon Guesthouse is an old sea captain’s house dating from the early 20th Century. It has seven rooms with en-suite bathrooms and private terraces. The rooms all have access to the garden. The main house has been renovated to keep its historical feel while being modern and well fitted out. The main house has a breakfast restaurant and a large comfortable lounge.

Experience & Activities
Swakopmund is not quite a typical seaside town, although it is an adventure centre of note. The Atlantic Ocean is especially chilly thanks to the Benguela current flowing up from Antarctica, so most activities are terrestrial, except for kayaking and boat cruises on Walvis Bay, and good beach fishing. Quad biking, dune boarding, nature drives, horse and camel riding, and scenic flights are among the activities on offer.
