Kulandila Camp

Kulandila Camp has a beautiful setting amongst mature riverine forest, overlooking the Luangwa River and the Kulandilla lagoon. Accessed via its own airstrip, the camp has a very remote location in the south of South Luangwa National Park, one of Zambia’s finest wildlife habitats.

Accommodation and Facilities
Kulandila has just four large safari tents, and accommodates no more than eight guests at any time. The camp is deliberately set at ground level so that it feels part of its surroundings, and the tents are linked to the mess tent by paths through the bush. The tents have en-suite bathrooms with an inside shower and an outside bath, ceiling fans, and comfortable chairs on the verandah. The mess tent also overlooks the river, and has a dining room, lounge, bar and library, and a pool on the deck outside.

Wildlife and Activities
The wildlife around Kulandila includes lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, hyena, wild dog, giraffe, zebra, roan antelope, hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, kudu, and plenty of birds. Safari activities include day and night wildlife drives, walking safaris and the use of photographic hides. Guests can hire professional quality camera equipment at the camp.
