Lolebezi

Lolebezi is perched on the banks of the Zambezi River in a beautiful and very peaceful location. Set within a small private concession with half a mile of private river frontage, the lodge is a spectacular place from which to explore Zambia’s spectacular Lower Zambezi National Park.

Accommodation & Facilities
Lolebezi is a smart contemporary style lodge built from recycled materials, and it has six huge rooms, two of which are set up for a family with two bedrooms each. The rooms are air-conditioned, and have en-suite bathrooms with a bath and inside and outside showers, and a large outside deck with a plunge pool and a thatched sala. The decor is modern and imaginative, and the rooms and bathrooms have open-able glass fronts designed to make the most of the views of the Zambezi River. Wooden walkways connect the rooms to the main lodge, which has a dining room, bar, lounge, central pool, and a fire-pit by the river.

Wildlife & Activities
The Lower Zambezi National Park has an excellent population of wildlife which includes large numbers of elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, lion, leopard, and hyena. Wild dogs are sometimes seen, and waterbuck, impala, kudu, eland and zebra are among the resident herbivores. the bird-life is superb too, thanks to the water and the varied habitats in the park. Lolebezi offers activities including day and night wildlife drives in open vehicles, walking safaris, canoeing, boat cruises and fishing.
