Atzaro Okavango Camp

Atzaró Okavango has a super location on a private concession in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. The camp is positioned on the edge of the water overlooking a lagoon and a river, in a landscape of open grassland and waterways, studded with palm islands and fringed with riverine forest.

Accommodation & Facilities

The camp has 10 air-conditioned rooms, including two designed for families, that have en-suite bathrooms with inside and outside showers, private plunge pools, mini-bars, fans, private decks with shaded day beds, and wifi. The camp has been built using recycled materials wherever possible, and it is largely solar-powered. The large main building has a dining room, lounge, and wine bar, with a spa, a well-equipped gym and a 20m pool nearby.

Wildlife & Activities

Atzaró Okavango has an excellent variety of resident wildlife including elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe, lechwe, and hippo. Guests can enjoy day and night wildlife drives in open safari vehicles, walking safaris, and, when water levels allow, serene mokoro trips, seasonal catch and release fishing, and boat cruises.
